Chef Fauzy

Azouz loves his job and clearly takes his customers’ needs and wants to heart.

“We are way more than a food kiosk,” says Azouz. “People take the time out of their day to come and just visit. I love working with people and feel like my customers are part of my family.”
For more than 20 years, Chef Fauzy Azouz has worked as a professional chef. Starting his career in restaurants, Chef Fauzy joined the Fuel For Gold team in xx and has been running the kitchen, supervising staff, refining the menu and enjoying the personal relationships he has fostered with his customers.

Kelly Anne Erdman


A Sports Dietitian specialist for more than 27 years

A Sports Dietitian specialist for more than 27 years, Kelly Anne Erdman was a driving force in identifying a need for nutritious meals for athletes, and making it happen. Starting as a daily lunch program for CSI Calgary athletes training at the University of Calgary in 2002, Erdman hired a chef and developed meal services for athletes. The program evolved into a profitable commercial food kiosk and catering business at the U of C.

Erdman was the lead Performance Sports Dietitian in 2011-2014 for the Canadian Olympic Committee where she worked for three Games. She is the lead Sports Dietitian Consultant for the Canadian Sport Institute Calgary, the University of Calgary Sports Medicine Centre, the National Coaching Institute Calgary and the Calgary Flames NHL Team. She is also a 1992 Cycling Olympian for Team Canada, inducted into the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame and Museum in 1999.

Lisa Thomson

Marketing & Events

Lisa manages the marketing for Fuel for Gold.  As Volunteer Coordinator for ski races both at the club level and large international alpine ski events, Lisa has more than 15 years of experience fueling volunteers, officials and athletes in sport settings.
